Chrono-start Chronograph Watch

In 1979, the quartz crisis flooded the market with inexpensive quartz watches, forcing Breitling to close its doors and liquidate its assets. Ernest Schneider, owner of the Sicura watch brand, acquired the Breitling name, the Navitimer trademark, and several watch designs from the Breitling family, laying the foundations for the brand’s revival. This dial and movement are from a pre-Breitling Sicura Chrono-Start watch. I love the history and the connection it represents, great custom 1 of 1 watch up for grabs. The base calibre is the Valjoux 7734, fully serviced and running strong. All complications function as they should
